James Dean is the founder of James Dean Designs, a multidisciplinary maker working across woodworking, CNC, laser cutting, and metalwork. With a background in visual communications, he brings a strong focus on storytelling and design clarity to everything he creates. 

After starting his CNC journey in 2019, James quickly recognised the barriers beginners face when learning the craft. In response, he began creating accessible tutorials and sharing his knowledge through YouTube and the wider maker community. Today, he is known not only for his creative output but also for his commitment to helping others develop their skills, making CNC and digital fabrication more approachable for newcomers.
