Cody Elkins is the founder of Cadence Manufacturing and Design LLC, bringing over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry to the CNC and woodworking space. As a Quality Manager and Engineer, he has specialized in developing and maintaining advanced manufacturing and automation systems for complex components used by the U.S. military. This deep background in precision engineering and process control now informs his work within the maker and CNC community.

In 2020, Cody began developing custom tooling solutions to improve rigidity on hobby-grade CNC machines—an effort that led to the creation of his now widely recognised “Jenny” bits. What started as a personal project quickly gained traction within the maker community, revealing a clear demand for high-performance tooling. Since then, Cody has scaled production, allowing him to take full control of manufacturing and continue delivering innovative solutions for CNC users and woodworkers.
